SO here is the plan, do all the body mods, fix all the rust (very little) and get it ready for a show paint job and then follow the artical that I read last night to the "T" and end up with a RUST FREE patina paint job with rust worked in to the mix! I just read an 8 page artical in Street Rod Builder (March 2008) on doing just this but to a fiberglass 36 ford. Problem is once this is al done the old patina look will be ruined. Straight out of Canada, this former firetruck pumper now roasts the tires with a Holset X35 Turbo assisted 7.3L International IDL Turbo Diesel motor.

I love how it looks right now but the problem is I want to chop it 2", section the cab and doors 4", section the hood 2", section the front fenders 2" and shorten the bed about 6" then place teh cab right on the running boards. I guess it would take 3-4 times as long to do a rust free patina rust job then it would to do a nice DD/show paint job!
